Don Ross is a 38-year-old film photographer based in Lambertville, NJ, known for his ability to capture the raw beauty of candid moments in everyday life. His passion for photography ignited at the age of seven when his mother gifted him a point-and-shoot camera, setting him on a path of creative exploration. After high school, he moved to Nashville, TN, where he earned a degree in audio engineering at SAE Institute of Technology and worked in the music industry, where he continued to nurture his love for photography by taking pictures of his friends and bands. Since relocating to Lambertville in 2021, Don has rekindled his passion for film photography, drawing inspiration from the iconic Bucks County photographer Jack Rosen. His work seamlessly blends candid and documentarian styles, offering an authentic perspective on the human experience. Currently, as the art preparator at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA, he is occasionally invited to shoot events for the museum while diligently crafting his debut photo book, Part One.
